Hemisfair, Landmark & Hamilton Win Preservation Texas Honor Awards!

Happy Friday everyone! This year, we are honored that three of our recent projects have been awarded Honor Awards from Preservation Texas! The Hamilton House Restoration project, The Hemisfair Historic Houses project and the Landmark Inn State Historic Site project are amongst sixteen projects from around the state that are being recognized for their preservation efforts.

“We congratulate our Honor Award winners for holding high standards in completing their successful historic preservation projects,” said Preservation Texas president-elect Ann Benson McGlone of San Antonio. “Public and private investments in historic places ensure that our community landmarks will endure, whether in big cities like Houston and Austin or in smaller communities like Castroville and Groesbeck.”

Honor Awards are chosen that represent successful historic preservation, restoration, rehabilitation and reconstruction projects and are presented annually at the Preservation Texas Summit. This year, the summit is being held in Brownsville, TX, and events begin on Sunday. To register, please visit preservationtexas.org/2018-summit.
