Lewis and Landmark Inn Win Conservation Society Awards!
Last night, the San Antonio Conservation Society held their bi-annual 2018 Historic Preservation Awards at the historic San Antonio Country Club. Our Landmark Inn State Historic Site project and our own Lewis Fisher both were big winners of the night. The Landmark Inn was one of ten building projects to win an award this year and follows the recent Preservation Texas Honor Award last month. Lewis was awarded the lifetime achievement Amanda Cartwright Taylor Award for his many years of service in the historic preservation field. Coincidently, our friend and historical author, Lewis F. Fisher, was also presented with an Amanda Cartwright Taylor Award of the evening. We will echo Lewis's acceptance speech in saying thank you to the Conservation Society for this honor, to THC for their trust and partnership on this project, and to all the contractors and craftsmen who we've been fortunate enough to work with on this project and many of our historic preservation projects! Lastly, we congratulate all of last night's winners and their amazing projects and continued efforts in the field of historic preservation. It was an honor to be in your company!
