IN PROGRESS: High Flight Center

This week, we are going to be highlighting four new projects that we have in the pipeline and are just now able to share with everyone! The first project is the High Flight Center at Blue Skies of Texas West. This facility is designed to be a spiritual and cultural events venue for an active retirement community just outside of San Antonio. The design incorporates many vernacular materials and forms of the existing campus, but fuses them together for a more contemporary solution. The building floor plan was optimized overall as much as possible to help save on cost, but it still manages to provide a very generous and dramatic central gathering space with an exposed timber structure and abundant access to daylight.
