Lewis Honored with Preservation Vision Award!

Last week, San Antonio's Power of Preservation Foundation hosted their annual Power of Preservation Prom in the historic Villita Assembly Building in the La Villita Historic Village. There are several goals to the annual event, one primarily being to raise money for the foundation that will help support preservation awareness and outreach programs within various San Antonio communities. The Prom also an event where local preservation leaders and projects are awarded for their contributions to the field. Last year, our Bexar County Commissioner's Courtroom project won the 2016 People's Choice Award and this year our founding principal, Lewis Fisher, was awarded the 2017 Vision Award, for all his years of service in the field of historic preservation, restoration and rehabilitation! It seems only fitting for Lewis to win this award within La Villita, a place where Lewis began his work in the historic preservation field over 35 years ago when he was working for Ford, Powell & Carson, along side his soon to be business partner, Jim Heck. We would like to thank PoP for honoring Lewis with this award and for everyone who came out to the event to support Lewis! Below are just a few photos from that night:
