COMPLETE: UTSA Football Locker Room

Today, we are excited to share with everyone, the final photographs of the UTSA Football Locker Room project that was just completed in the fall! What was previously two separate PE locker rooms within the PE Building on the main campus of University of Texas San Antonio, is now one large locker room used primarily by the school's football team. By removing an existing partition separating the two rooms and exposing the concrete structure above, a large enough space was created that meets all the team's programatic requirements. All of the finishes in the space were selected based on durability and the school's colors, highlighted by a dominant orange drop-down ceiling running the length of the space that not only helps conceal mechanical equipment, but also aids in creating some of the more secluded spaces within the otherwise open room.
