Thoughts
The first floor of the Durango Building at the downtown UTSA campus has transitioned from classroom space to conference room space that can be leased out to a variety of groups for a variety of events. Five new, multi-purpose rooms with complete audio/video systems, folding partitions and adjustable lighting packages were designed within the existing footprint of the first floor area, along with new reception area, catering kitchen and office space. The rooms feature a cohesive material pallet throughout, with subtle variations in each room, making each one uniquely styled as for particular types of events.
