Thoughts

Designated as the first National Trust Historic Site in Texas, we were honored to have the opportunity to preserve such an important building in Texas history.  Our expertise was utilized for restoring finishes throughout the house, repairing molding to original design and condition, and repairing water damaged ceilings.  In addition to the restoration we also improved accessibility of the entire site and adapted the garage and garage apartment for reuse as a collections and curatorial workshop.
