Thoughts

Located on the first floor of the historic JPL library building, this food court serves hundreds of students each day with a variety of commercial chain restaurants to choose from. This fast track project was in dire need of an upgrade on the overall decor of the space. Each restaurant space was completely remodeled with new millwork, equipment and graphics. The seating space received brand new furniture and a more logistical layout. The new furniture now includes a variety of seating options and features, such as bar height window seats, to built-in power stations for a quick charge during lunch. The seating space also received a brand new LED lighting package, highlighted by a continuous strip light that defines the perimeter of the central seating area.
