The Toyota Texas Motor Manufacturing Plant is one of San Antonio's largest employers and still growing. To accommodate and attract a talented workforce, the company has begun remodeling select areas within their San Antonio plant that will have big impacts on the overall working environment experience for its team members. Our partnership with Toyota began in 2015 with a reimaging of the plants main lobby space and executive conference rooms. The goal was to rebrand the space in the spirit of the plant’s Texas roots and culture. By rezoning the large space into different functioning areas, we were able to give the space multiple purposes while maintaining its flexibility.

Following the successful renovation of the lobby, Toyota then turned its attention to completely overhauling the main kitchen & cafeteria with a brand new seating area expansion. The rebranded space is now known as the 1794 Bistro, named after the ranch the plant resides on that was first established in 1794. A new contemporary industrial aesthetic will run throughout the bistro that marries clean lines, modern colors and touches of natural materials that relate back to the historic ranch. In addition, a once unused gravel landscape outside of the existing cafeteria will be transformed in a semi-covered fenced-in courtyard for additional seating.
