Thoughts
This landmark worship facility stands as a testament to our firm’s capability, representing one of our most ambitious and expansive church projects to date. Every architectural choice was made with the deliberate intention of evoking a profound sense of awe and grandeur, ensuring that every visitor who enters feels the weight of the sacred. Central to the design philosophy is a deep connection to the spirituality of the church’s Patron, a theme that resonates through the sanctuary’s soaring heights and intimate details alike.
The aesthetic palette draws heavily from traditional craftsmanship, utilizing a sophisticated blend of smooth-cut limestone and dark, rich stained wood to create a space that feels both timeless and grounded. To further anchor the project in its spiritual heritage, we carefully incorporated specific design elements inspired by the original church and the historic Basilica in Assisi, Italy. This marriage of classic Italian influence and modern engineering allows the structure to serve as a bridge between centuries of faith and the functional needs of a contemporary congregation.
The campus is defined by a masterfully balanced layout, featuring a primary 1,900-seat church alongside an intimate 300-seat chapel. Despite their difference in scale, these two structures co-exist in perfect architectural harmony, unified by their shared material language and spiritual purpose. They are seamlessly linked by a beautifully landscaped plaza, an outdoor sanctuary in its own right that provides a tranquil transition between the two buildings and offers a grand space for reflection and community gathering.
