Thoughts

This new 350 seat church is thoughtfully situated adjacent to the previous worship building which has been repurposed into a parish hall in accordance with the church’s master plan.  The new sanctuary is surrounded by an abundance of existing large oak trees, however, due to the careful placement of the building, minimal tree removal was required, and therefore, large areas of shade for outdoor activities were retained.  Stained glass panels that were previously kept in storage, were restored and installed in the new sanctuary windows, linking the church to its long history.  Facing the street, a newly designed round stained glass window and a new spire, convey a warm, welcoming identity to the neighboring community.
