Thoughts
Designed to seamlessly weave into the historic fabric of Floresville, this new 500-seat worship facility draws deep inspiration from the Victorian vernacular found along the city’s iconic Main Street. The thoughtful application of traditional brickwork and intricate architectural detailing allows the building to stand as a respectful tribute to the local heritage, ensuring the structure feels like a natural and permanent extension of the community’s storied past.
This sense of continuity is most poignantly felt within the sanctuary itself, where three historic stained glass windows salvaged from the previous church have been painstakingly restored and given a place of honor above the Altar. Their presence creates a powerful visual bridge between the congregation’s history and its future, bringing a familiar and comforting light into the new design. To further elevate the sacred atmosphere, two grand chandeliers flank the Altar, introducing a layer of classical elegance and a warm, timeless glow that enhances the dignity and beauty of the worship experience.
