Thoughts

Fisher Heck was retained by the new owners of this 1924 federal-colonial style house, to help develop a new vision and style for the house that is more contemporary and accommodating to a large extended family. A new grand foyer addition will be added to the side of the house, along with mudroom and three-car garage, completely changing the scale of the original 6,000 sqft house. A new primary bedroom suite, ground floor addition will be added to the rear of the house, while the adjacent living rooms and kitchen will be opened up and expanded for large gatherings. The existing wood siding will be replaced with a new smooth stucco system along with brand new metal windows throughout for a high-contrast look. Three existing Casitas in the rear of the property will also be renovated to fit in with the new style of the property for a cohesive aesthetic throughout the property. The project is currently in the design phase.
