The Cathedral Santuario de Guadalupe is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas, Texas. The structure dates from the late 19th century and is located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, Texas. The church oversees the second largest Catholic church membership in the United States. Fisher Heck was commissioned to lead a design team that includes landscape architecture firm TBG and lighting engineer Schular Shook, that will transform the front plaza of the Cathedral into a more habitable and accessible space for visitors. The team will also be developing a new lighting scheme for the building that strategically highlights the various architectural features around each facade.
