Thoughts
The long-time owner of this quaint cottage in Karnes City needed some additional space and general updates throughout to better host extended family gatherings. The existing 1,800sf house received a new Primary Bedroom suite addition to the back of the house, along with a new studio and porch for watching the grand kids play in the yard. The existing house was then brought down to studs and then opened up more to improve flow and visibility into other rooms of the house. Existing finishes and fixtures were all updated in the process, and the overall thermal envelope of the house was greatly improved. New landscaping around the house transforms the property into an attractive anchor for the local neighborhood.
