Facts
Sited commandingly upon a prominent hilltop, this new construction residence negotiates the duality of monumental views and environmental sensitivity. The structure engages the horizon, offering a sweeping vista of the fairways and the urban silhouette beyond, yet its footprint remains deferential to the native topography, achieving a seamless tectonic integration with the terrain. Drawing inspiration from the Prairie School vernacular, the massing is defined by emphatic horizontal planes and deep, cantilevered eaves that provide both thermal protection and a grounded aesthetic. The internal program is choreographed to draw the eye toward the glazed western curtain wall, where the boundary between interior and exterior dissolves. This transparency serves as a lens for the home’s primary focal point: a series of sophisticated, multi-level terraces and a curated poolscape that serve as an architectural extension of the living space.
