Thoughts

This project seeks to reimagine an adapted use for an existing open air pavilion and adjacent storage facility that are perched up next to the Heritage Museum of Big Spring.  The proposal encloses the pavilion to create an event center and gallery space that can also accommodate large meetings throughout the year. The envelope of the event center consist of matching split face masonry plans, broken up by strategically placed louvered glazing to provide adequate amount of daylight into the space, while minimizing harsh direct sunlight. The project is currently raising funds for the construction.
