FisherHeck takes special care in siting a house on its land. We always consider the natural terrain and existing vegetation, views towards and from the site, and prevailing breezes and sun angles. We believe that a house must fit within its environment, be it urban or natural, in order for the building to feel connected with its context. Properly siting a house also creates the outdoor spaces around a house that are so important to the way a home owner enjoys the exterior spaces.

A successful residence must not only satisfy the needs of its residents it should also reflect the personalities of its owners. It is our job to work closely with the owners to understand their needs and their desires, and to beautifully integrate the precious artifacts of their lives into the whole of the design.
