| | Bobbitt Residence San Antonio, Texas The King William Historic District gains much of its charm from the placement of small cottages next to much grander mansions. The Bobbitt Residence is such a cottage. The Bobbitts decided to enlarge the house for their growing family and asked Fisher Heck to help design an addition. The architects followed an historical pattern for enlarging a cottage by extending a narrow, two-story wing from the rear of the house, making it not apparent from the front lawn. | |
