UTHSC Dolph Briscoe Jr. Library Remodel
From an 18,000 sf partial library stack/study/office use to 10 state of the art A/V instructional/lab classrooms, student meeting rooms and seating areas, the program called out for innovation in materials and student flow, student comfort, and functionality. By closely working in unison with the UTHSC Facility Management, Library, and instructional staff, a highly successful project was achieved. Designed for various student desk layouts, floor electrical/data outlets where strategically installed. Other amenities include the use of antimicrobial sheet rubber flooring laid out in fun curved patterns, replaceable caarpet tiles, in three seating areas, curved floating metal ceiling panels, special LED lighting wall washers, and coordinating wall colors/panels.
